About Dr. Mackenzie

Dr. Janet S. Mackenzie obtained her bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She worked in social service and earned a master's degree in psychology and education. She then pursued medical studies at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. After general surgery residency at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH, she completed her plastic surgery residency at McGill University in Montreal. She now practices in Casper, WY.

Dr. Mackenzie is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.

I talk to patients about their goals, realistic outcomes, recovery time, etc. and make a plan that meets each individual's needs.

Plastic surgery isn't just about cosmetic needs. Many people want surgery for reconstruction, functional improvement, skin cancer or other needs. I am pleased to be a part of treatment for these more 'medical' problems, as well. Skin cancer and breast reduction surgeries are among the most common reasons patients seek surgery.
